  1. Are there any other reports of this, other than one Twitter comment? Because that comment kind of reads like he was trying to get the plan based on prior advertisement, not that HE had it and was downgraded. Unfortunately, Tmobile reps say a lot of things. Not all of them turn out to be correct.

    1. This is a good point. I think we’re reading the Tweet the same way. It’s certainly possible the T-Mobile rep wasn’t correct when reporting that existing customers won’t be grandfathered. I should have acknowledged as much in my post–you’re definitely right that carrier reps regularly misstate their own companies’ policies.

What I can say is that T-Mobile reps got involved in the Twitter conversation following this post. So far, I haven’t seen them raise any disagreement with the contention that existing subscribers aren’t being grandfathered.

      1. Details that I left out at time of posting were that I had it setup to change to that plan on April 6th when my cycle started over but that somehow got cancelled when they dropped the plan. I wanted to see their reaction when I tried to get them to fix it. Last night after they contacted me and getting the run around once again someone was able to get me on that purged from the system plan.

    2. Yes. I was trying to get them to put me on that plan.
